Now I'm lost again.

Two joined the army. One is Walter Walds/Waldo S/N 107 so he is out.

The other is S/N 2204 a farmer from Didcot in Qld - mother Norah

Those are the only two on the WW1 Roll as Walter Seabrook.

Ok, the Coolah one has no S/N. He was discharged 20 Dec 1915.

Age 22 on p.1 and p.5
Age 32 on p.3, p.7 and p.9

D'hurst = Darlinghurst

I have a copy of the baptism for the Muswellbrook George Seabrook and it is not at all clear if his middle name is Millington as it is in some records on BMD or even Wellington as it is a W on some records. The second letter looks more line an 'e' but the handwriting seems to have 'M' and W' exactly the same.

His father is William and the minister is William and the abode is Muswell Brook so we have lots of M and W to look at.

A reminder
Death 5221/1926 SEABROOK WALTER J - GEORGE W - MARGARET - SYDNEY * 22 Apr 1926

Who is Alice?

I don't know how she fits.

Which topic an I in? :D

SEABROOK MARY ANN 13979/1872 GEORGE M MARGARET MUSWELLBROOK
SEABROOK JOHN HENRY 15166/1874 GEORGE MARGARET MUSWELLBROOK
SEABROOK WILLIAM THOMAS 15964/1876 GEORGE MARGARET MUSWELLBROOK
SEABROOK THOMAS WILLIAM 20041/1878 GEORGE MARGARET PATERSON
SEABROOK MARIA ELLEN 19396/1880 GEORGE MARGARET MUSWELLBROOK

SEABROOK ADA GRACE 14804/1885 GEORGE MARGARET DUBBO
SEABROOK MABEL 10396/1892 GEORGE W MARGARET CASSILIS

I still don't know even after tracing Ada and Mabel if they belong to the family in Muswellbrook or not.

Coolah, Cassilis, Leadville, Birriwa (post #13)

It's ok Geoff. When this gets to #64 we can swap.

3234/1871 SEABROOK GEORGE - MCLEOD MAGGIE - PATRICKS PLAIN
4109/1877 SEABROOK GEORGE MILLINGTON - DOYLE MARGARET S - PATRICKS PLAIN

Ada and Mabel in the same area but nothing in any of the notices mentions Walter.

Should we be looking at Seabrooke? No marriage for a George in NSW index. No deaths 1880 - 1930.

No Margaret Seabrook(e) buried CofE Rookwood. Nor an Alice.

WALTER SEABROOK Age 44 - 24/04/1926 Zone C 07 4510

Ha. I had to run through a - z for given name.

THOMAS SEABROOK Age 52 30/06/1930 Zone C 07 4510

SEABROOK THOMAS W 12083/1930 GEORGE - MARGARET - RANDWICK * 28 Jun

SEABROOK Thomas William Death notice 28JUN1930 Cremation 52 at Coast Hospital Auxiliary, Randwick, late of Woollahra Sydney Morning Herald 30JUN1930

Married to Eve. Notices are no help.

52 in 1930

SEABROOK THOMAS WILLIAM 20041/1878 GEORGE MARGARET PATERSON

If Ada and Mabel are part of the same family there is a gap 1880 - 1885 in the birth index.

Not just same section but same grave so I'd say brothers and we a missing a birth reg for Walter James Seabrook abt 1882.

It also means we are missing a death 1882 - 1935 for Walter Seaborn born in south of the state.

I'll have another look for Alice.

If it's the right Margaret in 1927 she is in RC Rookwood.
