I have in my possesion a part register for The WW2 cemetery for KANCHANABURI in Thailand. It covers names from HASLAM[/B]. L to MASTERS. P.G
All the information is more than likely available from CWGC, but if it is any help, then please ask.
There is approx. 1000 names in it, and it was the property of my G.Mother, so now it may be useful to someone.

I was just going over some records and some previous posts, and came across this.
What an unbelievable, well kept and pleasant environment.

Hello Steve,

I have some digital photos I took on 15 Jul 2008 of the cemetery and the bridge across the River Kwai.

Regards,

Dave

Many thanks Dave,
That looks absolutely wonderful. It makes a change from just rows of white crosses.
I have a similar picture from a few years ago, and one from when the cemetery had just been established, useing simple white wooden crosses as markers.
