So George returned to Australia on a troop carrier and was discharged from the army in 1920.

Births Dec 1919
Ward Muriel - Sainsbury W.Ham 4a 344

So is this the arrival of spouse Jessie

WARD Jessie S 1898 1922 London Australia Sydney ???

and the arrival of daughter Muriel ?

Did George return to England after he was discharged from the army? I can't imagine he stayed in Australia for two years with spouse and daughter in London.

One researcher seems to think Jessie arrived with Muriel but no date given.

Regards,

Dave
