Watched a documentary a while back and did some research....this info astounded me.
To think that the Royal British Legion was privvy to all this info years before Hitler ran amok.

Why were we so shocked back them when images of the camps came through,many already knew that Germany had them....houses Jews and other sections of society they frowned upon.
This was only 17 years after WW1....of course its easier said than done to try and fight this kind of thing but i for one is amazed that as a nation these goings on four years before the second world war didn't have us more ready for it.

However well the Germans tried to hoodwink these people on this visit i am truly shocked that this wasn't put out to the world so every nation could have been a bit more prepared for what was coming.
