Waters and Walsh(e) Families of Dublin

Location
Melbourne
From
Australia
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has information on the surnames Waters and Walshe from Dublin city, Dublin. I am particularly interested in the descendants and ancestors of Richard Frederick Waters, who died in Sandymount in 1862. He was a Church of Ireland clergyman in the parishes of St Peter's and St Mark's, according to http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/. His wife was Lucinda Walshe, born in Dublin in 1831, the daughter of a James Walshe. I believe Lucinda was related to a Francis Lucas Cadwallader Walshe (her brother ?).

Thanks,

Drew Hayes - Melbourne, Australia.

Romany Rose,

Your data is right on the mark. I did know most of this, so I hope you don't mind if your hard work merely went to proving my assumptions about Richard Waters and his family. I know that Richard Frederick Waters' father was also Richard, but I thought there were 2 Richard Frederick Waters' until I realised he had married twice (listed as Widower on certificate for marriage to Lucinda Walshe).
Richard's daughter Frances Ellen married Francis Hayes (see my other post).

Thanks again for all of your hard work today.

Hi Drew
Glad that this is the right family:D
Whilst I was looking I uncovered a little more info on them :D and after I have checked the info for you I will post it on here
Glad that it confirmed certain facts for you-it does help sometimes for someone else to take a fresh look
take care

Happy Christmas
