Watkins - farming in Merthyr area

Looking for help on a Edmund Watkins a farmer born around 1790 Cwmbargoed
So Far
I have researched WATKINS family managed to get back to JENKIN WATKIN B. 1700s Died.1829 a Farmer wife Anne children Thomas B.1776 Mary B.1784 John B.1785 Margaret B.1796 & EDMUND B.1791 EDMUND WATKINS farmer born 1791 CWMBARGOED is that the place or farm ?? His farm has been also called Cwm Bargoed. And on other census forms known as Ty Cenol. Tir Blaen Bargod, Tir Cwm Bargod.
Where are they buried.
Edmund had a large family Wife margaret. children Jenkin, Gregory, Mary, Ann, Rebecca, Llewelyn, John, Jane, Thomas, Barbara, Isaac. ( his son was still farming 1891 census named Isaac and wife son Edward 21, Margaret A 19, Mary E 17, Janet E 11, Rachel M 7, Ruth J age about 5.
Would love to find out who Edmunds parents were could anyone throw some light they used Ynysgon Chapel MERTHYR for childrens births.

On 1841 census at Blaen Bargoed FARM Thomas Watkins was Edmunds Brother

Hi Christine,

CWMBARGOED could very well be the name of the home they lived in, my grandfather and his brothers and sisters were born in Forge Mills or Graigwen-jack in montgomeryshire, that was on their birth registery and these were the names of their homes not any town, matter of fact I was actually sent a picture of forge mills by someone in wales (that was where my grandfather was born), but that is only me guessing, not knowing for a fact.
