We do not know we are born.

What is the famous saying "We do not know we are born"?

Think of our ancestors who worked on the farms for hours a day in all weather doing hard labour such as digging ditches, ploughing fields and pulling up weeds in all weathers and their lives being ruled by daylight and darkness. Their small cottage only having a fireplace to keep them warm in the winter months and a few oil lanterns for light, and a rickety old bed.

And if our working class ancestors were ill for a while they suffered in a small room in their muddy cottage in their wooden bed with cloth covers, suffering with very few treatments and feeling rotten. Having to be fed hot broths.
