Whats in a name!

Hi All
Having a break from head butting brick walls, I thought I would try to add some of the step grandfathers tree.
So after several abortive searches for the name Parry I tried Perry and there he was with the marriage to great grandmother.
I was a bit miffed as I always thought he was a Parry, I think the family think of him as Parry.
I then searched for the 2 step Aunts and found one as Perry and the other as Parry.
Is this a missspelling on the certs or what.
Also on the aunts birth registers the mother is listed as Walton( my side)
and as Smith(her nee surname)on the other, talk about vague families!!
Trying to find a birth with the variable surname is proving very difficult as I do not know where he was born!!

Peter
