I have a bit of a conundrum with the name of a relative.

On his Birth certificate he is shown as just Frederick Walton born 21 Jan 1872 with father Joseph Walton, bricklayer.

On his baptism on 11 Feb. 1872, he is shown as Frederick Walter Walton born 21 Jan 1872(so same person) father Joseph Walton, bricklayer.

On his marriage 27 Jan 1892 (I think it is the right one) he is shown as Frederick John Michael Walton, 20 years, father Joseph Walton , Builder.

I know on his sisters baptism the father is also shown as a builder so that would fit.

I just don't get the extra names, why?
