Trying to locate Fanny Frances Knight.

Married George Henry James August 1861 St Pancras, father John Knight dec'd. Address on marriage certificate Perry Street, believe this comes under Somers Town.

Spent most of yesterday afternoon looking for her but back to square one.

The only possible match I can find in '51 is a Fanny Knight neice living in St Andrews Plymouth with the Collins Family, not sure if this is the right one as she is born in the right area but d o b is 1839 If it sounds possible will post full details

Have come across these, she's certainly getting me in a pickle, dosnt help not putting fathers occupation unless she didnt know it. Just going through 1861 census for Perry Street, probaly be there until doomesday :2fun:

There is no mention of fanny here but maybe she was employed at the address given in her marriage certificate or it could have been a relitives address

Hi Gwen,

Thanks. Gone through Perry Street no sign of her. There was another one in 1861 but the census was damaged so only got surname pob, occ (Marylebone, though dont thinks it that one).

Will go through the info you gave and see if I can make anything out of it.
