Hi all,
I'm a newbie so hello! :)

It's my nan's 90th in April and I would like to find out some more information about my Grandad's RAF career. He was posted to RCAF station Kingston, Ontario Canada in the early 1940's and then returned to Angle, where he met my nan, sadly he died of MS at 29 and she has been a widow ever since "he was the only man for her!" Sad but lovely.
I've looked up Kingston airbase but nothing comes up, I know it's not viable now but even putting in WWII, I get nothing. I have no idea where to start or even sure I can start?!
His name is Milton McWhinney and he was an electrician with the RAF. This is the job he did whilst at Kingston. He was early 20's and whilst out there lived in Waterloo with relatives.
Mt mum's the huge history buff/family tree researcher but i'm the one with the internet so I help out....it's addictive though! :D
Would he have been attached to a squadron? Are there any pictures of RCAF Kingston we can show my nan?

Any help or pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you xx
