why not use our live chatroom ?

Hi all,
its great that there is a bit of banter going on in the forum , but how come non of you are using F.H.U.K'S live chat room ? have you tried it ? and if not why not? it's there for your use whenever you want it .
to access it , why not load the f.h.u.k toolbar ? if you already have the link is on the toolbar give it a go you never know you might like it lol

Tried downloading the FHUK toolbar twice, and each time I tried to install it my windows explorer shut down

Do you use the live chat room, I can't seem to get into it, as I've tried to download the toolbar and my PC freaked out and restarted itself twice.

i just re installed the toolbar to see if there was any problem and it installed no problem , maybe if you save the download first to your documents then run the install from there that may help, i noticed a few members have tried to use the chat and have success in accessing it it takes a bit of getting used to but it is fun if you meet other fhuk members in there.
yes benny i do agree with that the banter has got a bit out of control, but that is our opinion, that is why i suggested people could have a live chat in the live chat room

I dont wish to upset anyone so i am more than happy to go into the chat room but to date i have not been able to get in there. If others are getting in there with no problems its obviously something im doing or not doing. My son is going to have a look at it today and see if he can sort it for me.

General chat room...we generally chat..between ourselfs,when it suits us...this is a wonderfull site and sorry i dont think the banter has got out of hand...we dnt want a chat room..we want to talk amongst our friends ..when it suits us....to all the Mods on here who ive the strongest respect,i think most of us are happy as it is,cant see the problem..........but if there is a problem let us know.........and we will work together to sort it.....BANTER OUT OF HAND............sorry cant see it...regards to all Lee.

WITH YOU ALL THE WAY, I have a very old IBM computer, tried the chat room toolbar, lost my broadband connection so only thing to do was uninstall it, but I for one am here for the interesting chat, and yes I do get a lot of research help here thanks to all for your help and advice. I think we all enjoy the site as it is.

Can someone explain to me the difference between the live chat room and where we are now please?

Is a live chat room where you chat to a person while they are in there at the same time as you?

And this forum you can write something and they will see it when they come to this post at a later time?

Dont worry peeps..think most of us are happy to continue as we are..feel bad if there is a few who dont...there are topcs we all have posted on General Chat we are all proud of and i for one wouldnt have posted them in a chat room........some of us are good at the proper stuff of helping ourselfs and others find a missing link..others like myself are..well no good!...but we can offer little snippets of encoragement to other people and well....generally chat.

That just about somes it all up.
These chats/banter/shooting the breeze or whatever, will be seen by all. And it will also encourage others to come on in for research, help and a bit of friendly fun.
I'm not sorry for whatever I've said or done, it's all harmless. But to be able to do this, as well and give and get advice is great.
I've tried again to download the toolbar, and same result no matter which way I try it. So I'll carry on until someone kicks me off.

At the end of the day we all have something to offer, so let's get on with the chat, and the help and the friendship.O0
