Looked for them all & then individually - no luck is there any chance they could have moved to a different county or even emigrated? .

They could be anywhere, even alien abduction has been considered. I have looked in late census, but to no avail.
I will have to try deaths, but I hope not a whole family.

Theres one Ellen Allen in 1851 born as transcribed Woodburn Bucks, house servant born abt 1836 living in the civil parish of High Wycombe, RD Wycombe, address Tylers Green.

Theres a couple of Allen families living in Wooburn so she may belong to them.

Thanks Julie. As this address is about 15 miles from where she was born, I don't think I can tie her down to William and Mary.
There are other Allen families in the area, so will just have to make a note and wait and see what else I find.
The mistranscriptions are also making things a bit harder.
If I didn't know the area, I would be absolutely sunk.
