Can someone help me please to find William Baker and his wife Lydia Calloway? I don't know their birth dates. They married in Halesowen, Worcestershire in 1799. Their son Joseph was born in 1801 Sedgley, Staffordshire.

Did they have any other children? They may have died before 1841. Lydia prob has as I can't find her and there are too many Wm Bakers.

Found this death, but it says she's widowed and her father was William, bit odd as she was widowed:

I wonder if there are minor errors, the image has Lydia, widow of William Baker. Abode = Church Street.

Yeah, wasn't sure about those baptisms, but if Mary was their daughter, there is certainly a big gap between siblings, and of course their's seem to be non conformist registers, so I'm not surprised :)

That's unusual. if her name had been Mary, Sarah or Elizabeth, I wouldn't have been at all surprised, but Lydia is much less common, but not on this occasion :eek:

Would tend to agree, that said there is also a 4th William Baker and Lydia that married around that time, but I wont complicate matters :)

It looks as though the Nuneaton connection can be eliminated, the only issues are that Lydia says she is BiC and age, though would be rounded down..
