Matilda does not fit in our tree and if she is related to the William Thomas who married Linda then all we have for our William T is a birth in 1899 Waverley.


The following couple are in Lane Cove, but the E/R is of use only if we can prove they fit in our tree.

For someone so prominent I haven't found anything that mentions a birthplace. Think I've googled him off the interenet.
Checked the U.K papers as I saw a NLA Catalogue mentioning - "Griffiths was chairman of the Central Town Planning Advisory Board and a member of the Town Planning Association in London and the World Town Planning Institute."

Did you find Philip Hubert & Eadith? Post # 93 but there is a problem I think re an earlier post that is connected to this marriage.

BULLET HITS WALL AND FALLS ON WOMAN
Sydney, Sunday
Crashing through the window of a bedroom at the home of Mr. William T. Beck at Lane Cove at 1.40 am today, a bullet struck a wall over a doorway, and richochetted towards a bed where Mrs. Linda Beck was lying. The bullet which was almost spent fell in her hair and bruised her head. Mr. Beck was in another room at the time. He believes that had he entered the bedroom 10 seconds before he did the bullet would have struck him. Police searched the locality, but could not ascertain who fired the shot.
