They are calling it a 1 in 100 year event. The street I'm in used to flood by about 1m but the council did some drainage works about 10 years ago so now it's no more than about 20cm. I'm one level up from the street in the block of 21 units so I'm ok. There are plants in the garden that won't like so much water. I brought three pot plants inside and the croton is sheltering under the table on the balcony.

They called a flood in Bundy a one in a 100 event yet those living in North Bundy, which flooded badly, had their insurances jump through the roof and when they asked insurers why they were told because of the flood, hope your insurance doesn't go up after this.

We should be ok. Don't think the water will come over the kerb and run down the ramp into the basement. If it does and if the pump in the basement fails then the car park area might flood.

I still can't find John in 1841 or 1851.

Both arrived abt 1856 but not found.

The marriage was in Albury so arrival for either could have been NSW or Vic.

I've been searching Trove for Margaret Sinclair. A convict in Tasmania and several arrivals in SA in early 1850s.

Don't know if this is the same one.
