william cookson to louisa marr lookup

Hi there,

I can't seem to access the usual site for marriages at the moment, so would be most grateful if someone could please try lookup a marriage for the following couple:

William Cookson born 1838 Powerstock
to
Louisa Helena ?? (surname unknown - could be Brutzer) born in Wurttenberg, Germany

(Their first known child was born in 1870 in Frome, Somerset. According to 1881 census.)

Hi Jackie,

He may have married abroad. Findmypast have overseas marriages it is pay per view though.

you could well be right about marrying abroad, as he was in the navy and moved around.

i'll check findmypast.
