FreeReg has a burial in Great Yarmouth 5 August 1810 for a Caroline Darling, infant daughter of William and Susanna. It gives a Register note that her mother's maiden name was Dawson.

There is a marriage in Ipswich, Suffolk, 15 May 1805 between a William Darling and a Susan Dawson. The Groom's residence is given as Royal Berkshire Militia.

I think you've got the wrong Caroline Darling.

There is a tree suggesting Caroline's mother is Ann Wacey and arrived per Fortitude [not found it yet] though she may have traveled non-assisted..

Can't find a birth/baptism for John Wacey abt 1826.

Can't find a death so far for John in Qld. or NSW or Vic.

Hits in Trove for a George Wacey and family in NSW.

No hits in Trove at all for 'john wacey' only Geo. John Wacey or George John Wacey who died 1949.

FS seems to have removed dozens of pre 1837 English marriages.

Wacey - Darling marriage ?

John born as Darling or Wacey ??

Closest I can find for a Wacey/Darling marriage is a Jonathan Wacey marrying an Ann Darley 15 Feb 1821 in London. That is from a transcription, haven't seen an image of the entry.

Thanks Emeltee.

Looks like this will remain a mystery.

Caroline born abt 1809 not Middlesex and her mother Ann born abt 1778 not Kent.

John born abt 1826.

Have not found John yet in 1841. Quite a few if it's as Stacey or Stacy. There are several without others of the same surname who are in institutions.
