Ok so which William is this?

Marriage 1868/B02488 Fraine William Thomas - Slaughter Elizabeth Angelina

The Brisbane Courier (Qld.) - Tue 29 Sep 1868 p.2
MARRIAGE
DE FRAINE - SLAUGHTER.-On the 25th September, at the residence of the father of the bride, by the Rev. Henry Woodhouse, William Thomas de Fraine of Brisbane, to Elizabeth Angelina, youngest daughter of Mr. Alfred Slaughter, jun., Postmaster, Sandgate.

Death 1863 and married to Elizabeth Angelina with marriage in 1868?

I don't have the 1863 death in my tree.

Died in 1863 and marriage is 1868.

Three questions:

Is the one who died 1863 the spouse of Emma Thompson?

Are the parents of the one who died 1863 William & Ann CHESTER or William & Marian HUGHES ??

Did the informant get it right or wrong?

Arrival for the William who died 1863?

Can't find a notice for 1863.

The Find a Grave stuff is 80% wrong.

The children listed were born after 1868 marriage. And after the 1863 death.

Where is the marriage to Marian?

Where are any children born to a William & Marian Hughes?

Where is the death of a Marian/Marion de Fraine/Defraine ?

Very few records for the family on FreeREG and nothing before 1850.

That is curious Geoff.

The image you posted is not the same image that is on NSW Records site.

Labourer Middlesex

Aylesbury does not rule him out.

William b. 4 Sep 1800 c.21 Sep 1800 St Mary Aylesbury, Buckingham
Thomas Defraine & Fanny

I can't see a Marian Hughes.

I can't see anything in Trove for 1863 death.

A problem with the age and no baptism found.

Younger sister.

Name: Ann Letitia DE FRAINE
***: Female
Father: William DE FRAINE
Mother: Ann CHESTER
Birth c. 1826 Aylesbury Buckingham
Baptism 12 May 1826 St Mary Aylesbury Bucks

All later siblings born Gt Berkhampstead Herts.

1851 has Gt Berkhampstead for William but 1841 has

William 17 N
Ann 15 N
Louisa 12 Y

so I think Aylesbury is correct.
