william edmund denness 1917 totnes devon

hi everybody i am, new to this site, i am looking to find out about my grandfather his name is William Edmund Denness, he was born in Totnes, Devon in 1917, he was one of 4 children to a William G Denness and a Hilda Yeoman they married in Totnes Devon in 1915, the other children to them are hazel H Denness 1916, Leonard John Denness 1919 along with my grandfather were all born in Totnes Devon and finally Cyril G Denness 1922 Brighton He died the same year though. the family moved from Brighton to St Albans Hertfordshire not too sure of the date though, it was there my grandfatehr met my grandmother and where they mariied in 1948 and had my father in 1949. my grandmothers name is Rose May bailey although when she married my grandfather she was using the name Denny as she had taken the surname from the man she had a child with who name was Shelia, although Rose and mr Denny never actually married. So in 1949 she had my father Graham Edmund Denness and when he was about five years old my grandmother took him away with her, so my father doesnt really have any memories of his father. My grandfathers sister Hazel married a Edmund Haizelden in 1936 and they had a daughter Vivienne Nina Haizelden in 1944 around the tonbridge area. if anybody can relate to any of this thn please get in touch
