Hello Everyone.

I've been busy for the past couple of weeks, since I signed up to Ancestery, and I've discovered a lot of people, but I still don't have any link to a living member of the Graham family.

Sadly, or maybe not, our family sufferes from the birth of to many girls, so Graham lines all seem to die out. The last Graham I found died in the 1980's. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I can't push back before 1800.

At that date I have William Edmund Graham, my 4th great grandfather, Born 1800 in Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England, and he Died 4 Sep 1855 in 4 William Street, Clerkenwell, Middx, England.

I don't have anything on hiss father, mother, and siblings. If I did, maybe I might find a new line to the present day.

I hope someone can help.

John

Hi Col
I had a quick look on family search and their seems to be many William Graham's, around 1800 living in Middlesex, have you checked it out, I'm not sure which is your family

Hello Adam.

This might help you:

Wife is Amelia Graham 1804 – 1876

Children

Mary Graham 1825 –

George Frederick Graham 1828 – 1880

Elizabeth Ellen Graham 1830 – 1831

Thomas Stuart Graham 1831 –

Thomas John Graham 1832 – 1881

Sarah Ann Graham 1834 –

William Edmund Graham 1839 – 1907

Amelia Maria Graham 1841 – 1843

Thomas Stuart Graham, is my direct line, living in Westminster and Wandsworth, and William Edmund Graham starts a new line in Clerkenwell, which dies out in the 80's. There is a James graham I keep tripping over, who always seems to be living close to other Graham's in my family.

Regards.

John

Hi Adam.

I've joined that site, but it does not seem to know much about my family! Starting with me, I did a search for my father, which is easy to find on FBDM. it turned up no matches, even when I inputted all the correct data.

Looking at the result you posted, with no hard info on this lady, other than a name, I don't hold much faith on your findings.

I've been looking for info for years, and only recently I've maid headway. If anyone looks at todays thelephone book for Wandsworth, there are loads of Graham's listed, too many to try phoning.

The anoying thing is, on the Graham's of Clarkenwell tree, on Ancestry, they have the missing names, but they are marked Private. I've tried mailing them, but all is quiet.

Anyone out there got any ideas?

Many thanks.

John

This thread is rather old so am hoping it will still be read. I am a direct descendant of William Edmund Graham born 1800 in Clerkenwell. My branch is the William Graham side and ends with me! As you say, too many girls! Please get in touch if interested in swapping info.

Regards
Pat
