Only Nellie is in my tree so I only had her birth reg. The rest is news to me.

So all the children were born before Ethel married. Four had the registrations altered.

LITHGOW. Tuesday.
The death has occurred of Mrs. Ethel Jones, a well-known resident of Hartley Vale, at the age of 46. She was a prominent member of Hartley branch of the U.A.F., and a strong supporter of the Methodist Church.

I have it WRONG WRONG WRONG Your Ethel wasnt married to a R M Jones.

The death occurred in Sydney on july 1st, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. R. M. Jones , Tasman Street, Bondi, of Isabella Delenia,widow of the late Mr. William Richard Welch, at the age of 76 years.

Serveral things are very odd about this one gibbo.

A 'V' church record in 1881 a very long time after reg started in 1855. If that was a late reg then it would fit but age in notice is 46.

I found a tree that has Frederick born October 1879 and twins born in 1881 so Ethel must have been born late 1880 with that odd 1881 reg. No marriage or death for Ethel in that tree.

I've checked the William S. Two not married to an Ethel and others too young to have married in 1905 and others born after 1905.

Stuck is the word.

The notice naming daughter Nellie and the fact Nellie married at Manly is enough to sort out the William S.

Two McWILLIAMS familes in Liverpool with daughters named Ethel. Not the Ethel with mother Ethel hence my query about neither having a middle initial. Wrong pair.
