We also don't know where and when Annie was born and when her father Hugh arrived.

We know he was a farmer in Dayboro in 1875. If the place was named Hamilton I wonder how long he had been there.

Thanks gibbo. :)

I didn't have them all and not in that format. I think what I was given previously came off a CD.

Your welcome

I've been trying to find them on passenger lists but not having much luck as yet. So the earliest we have them here is John's nsw marriage notice in 1879?

I just noticed that the age for Elizabeth in the newspaper article on her death states her age as 45 yet her burial record states it as 62

Yes, 1879 for the marriages of John and W H.

I think 62 making her the eldest born abt 1851. TROVE is no help finding the earliest ref to Elizabeth.

TROVE is no help with Robert so still earliest is 1879.

I had this all the time. The fall from the horse:

1913 QLD Electoral Roll - Lilley - North Pine
BOND Sarah Florence, Scrub, Terror’s Creek, farmer, home duties
BOND William Henry, jun., King’s Scrub, Terror’s Creek, farmer
BOND William Henry, King’s Scrub, Lacey’s Creek, farmer

Junior must have died after 1964. I can't see his death in the index.

Thanks gibbo. :) Yes, that's the family ancestry.

Richard W. Bond was the second son of the Very Reverend Wensley Bond, Dean of Ross and he married Sophia daughter of the Reverend James Bond of Lecarrow, county Roscommon. By the mid 1850s the Bonds were in financial difficulties and their estate at Knockneconnor, Galeybeg, Lecarrow and Carrownure was advertised for sale...

Where are we up to Dave? Dare i ask? :2fun::2fun:

I cant find anything on their parents been here. I wonder if the kids moved over here after the parents died. There is a Bridget Bond in the NSW death indexes year 1900 but no other info noted to indicate she belongs to your Bond's.

We know from John's marriage notice that their father was dead in 1879 as it has late R. W. Bond
