These two are my four-times-great-grandparents, and they have been a head-scratcher for years. I only know their marriage details by sheer dumb luck, and William's occupation - private coachman - by his son's marriage certificate. Everything beyond this point is unconfirmed. William probably died in Stepney in the second quarter of 1853, and Sarah could have died in 1840 - that's probably why she doesn't turn up on the one census result I can find for William in 1841. Of course, with it being 1841, it gives adult ages only ending in 5 or 0, and I'm hesitant take his age of 35 as gospel. Sarah might have born in 1799 to Thomas and Catherine Bromley in the London parish of St Georges In The East, but I have no sources on that, just a suggested hint. Is there anything concrete that can help me get further back with either one of them? It is odd I can't seem to find William in 1851, if he did indeed die two years after that.
