I found this marriage some years ago, and put it my notes for future reference, but as usual, over time it's been lost.

1851 census, shows MARZELLA Ives(c1826.Ruislip, Middx), and Thomas Ives(c1820.Princes Risbourough, Bucks), together with son, John Ives. 10 April 1849. Princes Risborough.

Marzella died in Oct 1852 and was buried @ St Mary's, Princes Risborough, Bucks, (Marcella IVES aged 25 of Longwick.)

William Ives dies in June 1861, Monks Risborough, Bucks, and was buried, aged 39.

Now all I can find is the 1851 census return and burials(from the PR's), except John Ives(1849) in the Bledlow Union workhouse. in 1861 census.

If anyone can find the marriage, outside of Bucks(which I'm sure it is, maybe. ), I would be grateful.

On the 1851 census, I provided the maiden name of Marcilla Herne as additional information on the return, that's why I have her maiden name. But, didn't enter any further info, as to when married. (Duuuuh.!!! ).

Thanks folks.O0

Steve.:)

PS. I've found the Banns at St John the Baptist, Hillingdon, in 1846, and marriage reg 1846 J/F/M in Uxbridge.

Following on with this thread. I think I have found John Ives(1849. Princes Risborough) in 1881 census.

Age is 4 years out(36(b1845)), living in St George Hannover Square, London, with apparent wife, Annie E. Ives c1845.Weybridge, Surrey.

Again, I can't seem to find a marriage for him, to Annie E.

Can anyone see a marriage for them please.

Hi Steve,

They are on the 1891 census. The ages have been mistranscribed as 24 and 25 years of age instead of 41 and 45. Address 81 Gloucester street.
No one else living with them.

Ok, I've made an error with William Ives death and burial. It's NOT 1861 at Monks Risborough.

He is yet another William Ives in my tree, born 1822 at Monks Risborough, baptised at Princes Risborough, Baptist Church, to William Ives & Jane Pecke. He married to Mary Darville.redf)

So the hunt goes on for William Ives c1817. Princes Risborough.

I think I've found him in 1861 & 1871, but 'married' to a Sarah. Can't find a marriage in the PR's for him to a Sarah(b.1816. Wycombe Boro'). Also, I may have found him in 1891, as a widowed lodger in the house of Emma Fry.

Another search goes on, but I doubt he would have had more children.

Found them in 1881. The only people with them are Catherine Wilshire, a widow, and her children, visiting. Catherine, like Annie, was born in Weybridge so it's highly likely that she is Annie's sister.

Disregard this, I know realise that you had them in 1881.
