Hello,

Another attempt to solve this puzzle.

Catherine BLACKLEY b. abt 1839 Ireland d. 23 Nov 1915 Elderslie, Renfrew

married 1. 14 Oct 1864 Paisley, Renfrew

Adam McNAUGHTON b. ? d. bef 1871 - a school teacher

married 2. aft 1891 probably

William JACK b. ? d. ? - a general merchant

In 1871 Catherine is in Durham, England, listed as a widow.

In 1881 & 1891 Catherine McNAUGHTON is at 23 Broomlands Street, Paisley with her mother.

Catherine has not been found in 1901 as McNAUGHTON, JACK or BLACKLEY.

=====

Sarah BLACKLEY b. abt 1837 Ireland d. aft 1863

(Second daughter Janet was born on 7 Sep 1863 at Paisley)

married 8 Aug 1861 Paisley, Renfrew

William JACK b. ? d. ?

William should be in 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891 census. Possibly 1841 and 1901 as well.

Looking for a widower who is a merchant if that helps. Lots of William JACKs. :D

Please see if a few bricks in this wall can be removed.

Regards,

Dave
