Hello Dave. I am a new comer on this forum. I am Yves, a french citizen living in Singapore. Genealogy has been my hobby for more than 40 years. Recently, one of my friends here in Singapore asked me if I could help her to find information about her ancestors in Australia. It happens that William Gambell and Mary Ann Broughton Bagnell are among them. Would there be a possibility for me to communicate with you by email to exchange information about this couple ? It seems that data we can find online on Ancestry.com or Familysearch are not 100% accurate. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

It's a side branch of my tree not a direct line. I have some information on the two families.
I try to correct any errors found but can't guarantee it's 100% accurate.

Dave

Boughton is a neighbourhood to the east of Chester city centre, part of the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England.

Possible the name was added as a reminder of origin.

Nothing in the obits to say where William Gambell came from.

Possibly 1828 Bucks. Seems the marriage of his parents William Gambell and Elizabeth JUSON/JASON has not been found. ??

Well, not on one tree.
