Hi Dave

Something to ponder..

There are a few trees, the arrival appears to be 1852 ish.. But the main one only has William and no family, engineer not dyer.

If I have the correct family they may have been in Aus. by 1855/6..

Possible birth for Jemima Wallace

I've ruled out the surgeon. Not sure if that 1851 family is the right one or not.

If correct this would put the arrival 1851-1853

494/1853 HOUSTON WILLIAM WILLIAM MARY

NSW BMD only have '1853' as dob. #494 so early in the year. It will be a baptism record with a dob probably listed. It will not have pob.

Can that one be found with the Volume number?

Probably Presbyterian.

Vol 52 1-end (1385) Bap 1853-1854 Presbyterian

There has to be an error in one of the records. St Andrew's is Presbyterian.

Tuesday probably for the library so I'll check Vol 40 and Vol 52. Should have William's occupation.

Might be something in TROVE for William.
