The William born Beverley is on UK census up to and inc 1911.. The William born Otley West Yorks is not there after 1881 as he went to Sydney in his early years - so there's your answer. Otley is a small town 10 miles north of Leeds, 5 miles from where I live

edit

there is a tree on A.. which confirms this. It has the death notice attached. says he left 2 sons, 6 daughters, parents Samuel and Hannah Robinson.. burried in Aden. (died at sea)

It says in Wikapedia that the Houses of Parliament were built from stone quarried near Otley. Did he come over assisted passage you think. I have stone masons in my family who came over assisted passage to help build Adelaide.

the quarry is now an area of recreation called The Chevin. The rock face creates a 180 degree vista overlooking the Wharfe valley and the town of Otley. On a clear day the towns of Ilkley, Harrogate and Doncaster can be seen. At Easter it is tradition for a large wooden cross to be errected at the top of the rock face overlooking Otley. A very popular area

Can't find him in Qld or Vic. lists so possibly Unassisted to NSW.
