Hi,
I am stuck finding the birth record of one of my Scottish ancestor.
His name is William Moore (1825, Leith, Midlothian)
Father name: Charles/Charlton Moore
Mother name: Mary

William Moore appears also in 1861, 1871 and 1891 census in Scotland, so i suppose that he dead there.
Any help finding his birth and death?
(I have search in scotlandpeople, but no luck)

After Jane Close (Williams wife) dead, William married Margaret Close, Jane's sister.
I had the remain info that you put Ellie7.
The death in 1895 may be him, but that name don't appear in other records.

It is strange that Williams birth don't appear in scotlandpeople

One of the chil of William went to Spain and married there. She was baptism there too, and in his baptism record appear her paternal grandparents: "Carlos Moore" and "Maria 'Goryn'". Makes true the connection about the parents of William Charles Moore and Mary. The surname "Goryn" maybe it is misspel.
I have try looking with that maiden name, but no luck.
