I have nothing else on Andrew yet. Not found in 1861 or 1871 yet.

First son William so Andrew's father could be William.

3x Andrew PEAT in 1841 aged 6, 10 and 15 and none it seems with father = William.

in 1861 Margaret Sheddon/Peat is a visitor at her father's house at Cockpen, she is given as married and wife of a joiner and is under her maiden name of Sheddon.

There is an Andrew Peat, house carpenter, lodging with the family of John S Black in Blythswood Lanarkshire. He is age 19 born Glasgow but is given as unmarried. This could be a mistake by the householder.

All the other deaths in the index for an Andrew Peat to 1938 have an age which does not fit either of the two I found in 1851.

I can't see an Andrew in 1871 that fits either of the ones in 1851.

One in Kennoway in 1851 and a death in Kennoway in 1864 with no age.

Not close enough to main line to spend any SP credits.
