William Poulton to Jemima marriage.

They had 13 children baptised @ St Mary's, Aylesbury, Bucks, from 1779 to 1799. So a possible marriage year of 1772 -1779 ish.

Jemima Poulton was buried 1802. Aylesbury. No age given. But recorded as wife of William.
William Poulton was buried 1821. Stoke Mandeville. aged 72.

Possible baptisms at Aylesbury, for a Jemima.

Jemima Britain. born 1755, bap 1761.
Jemima Groom/e, bap, 1741.
Jemima Gill, bap,1764.


Before I tell myself to go to BucksFHS, could anyone else see from wherever they can, a possible marriage for them.

In the meantime I'll check Oxfordshire(which I doubt) and the marriage bonds.

There is one tree that gives Jemima's maiden name as Gutteridge.

Source for the marriage is Bierton, and her baptism @ Bierton.

Bierton is just outside Aylesbury, so feasible.

Looks like I'll be sending a request to BucksFHS.

The information I have, they were married in Bierton, Bucks, where Jemima was born. Their Granddaughter, Martha Ann Poulton married my relative.

William Poulton and Jemima......who. ? I can't see the marriage in the London, England, Church of England Marriages and Banns, 1754-1932.

I have their marriage elsewhere.

Jemima Gutteridge was baptised at Bierton with Broughton, Buckinghamshire on the 11 May 1759. Her parents were John and Ann Gutteridge.

Yes. I have that Admin. The poster dipoulton who suggested the marriage was in Paddington had the wrong family. She suggested we were related somehow.
