I am searching for information about my Great grandfather William Soames Bishop.
He was born in 1877 at Erpingham. In 1901 he would have been 24 years old and living in Grimsby. I would like to know where he lived and who else was in his household.
Thank you for your time

Michelle

Sorry Michelle haven't a clue about Lincolnshire & Coroners Reports.
He was only 29 when he died, how very sad.
I did find this in Anc# and wondered if he was a member of the family?

I found these records and I just wonder if they are yours, but you will have to put two and two together

William married in 1907 to Mary Ann Redgrave or Agnes Louisa Wilson. The other male was a William Ambrose Downing. There is a record of a Mary Ann Downing of Grimsby who had been married 3 years. This could mean Agnes Louisa Wilson was Williams wife. I cannot find Agnes Louisa, William Ambrose or William Bishop, as they were both fisherman thats not surprising. However there is a record for a Mrs Bishop aged 25, born 1886, in Grimsby who had married in 1907 and had 2 children, Lilly in 1905 and Master 12 days old (mid Mar) They were living at 83 Fairmont Rd, Grimsby and the reg dist was Clee. Could Master be William? If he was born mid Mar, his birth may not have been recorded until Apr which is the Jun qtr
