William is a great-great uncle b.1859 Clerkenwell. Have been able to trace him through to 1911. In 1891 census he is married to Minnie (she was a Domestic servant in the household of William & his mother Jane in 1881). I have been unable to locate their marriage. Their first child was born 1884 in Islington.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does the 1911 census state how long they have been married for?

Do you have their first born's birth cert. and mother was Minnie HILL and not another Minnie with a different surname?

Unfortunately William was a widower in 1911 and so correctly put a line through the marriage space, unlike some I've seen do. The 1891 census has Minnie with William as H&W, and his Mother in the household so have taken this Minnie to have become his wife. Maybe it will just be one of those that are not there to be found. The reason I wanted the marriage cert for William is try and narrow down the time frame of his father, my 2xGgrandfather's death. I've the 3 siblings Marr. certs but this would have been the latest it may have given him as deceased but that's other story I'm happy to plod through.
Thanks all for the help
Tracey.
