WILLIAM THIRTLE

I am looking for anyone who is researching the military history of William Thirtle b 1846 in Norwich and died in 1912 Preston, Lancashire. I know he served a few years in India and Singapore, where 3 of his children were born. If anyone has any information they would be willing to share about this man's military record which spanned over 20 years from @ 1870, I would be so grateful
