Hello crankypants,

1851
Address: Ebenezer st.
C.P: Luton
County: Bedfordshire
DUTRAINE William T, head 1829 age 22 Lett.. Carrier, Gt Berllhampertead, Hertfordshire
DUTRAINE Emma wife 1820 age 31 Luton, Bedfordshire
They married in 1845 but I'm interested in finding William in 1841. From the census he was born in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire. His parents are probably Thomas & Rebecca. Please see what you can find. Thanks.

Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. I'm possibly wrong about his parents because I don't have his death. He probably died 1851-1861. Some things don't add up. He should be aged about 12 and born in Hertfordshire if the 1851 census is accurate.

The name has many variations.

They were in Bedfordshire in 1851 probably because that's where his spouse Emma was born. Emma ended up in Qld. in 1862.

DEFRANE Emma 40 'Sultana' 1 Nov 1862 IMM/112 155 Z1957 M1696

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave

5 trees online for William son of Thomas De Fraine & Rebecca Curren/Curran.
4 don't have 1841 attached to tree.
1 has attached the William I sent you with parents William & Ann, yet his tree has parents Thomas & Rebecca.:confused::D

cheers

Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. I'm lost. The grand children's middle names don't help. The only one that stands out is Vernon. Curran/Curren means nothing to me.

Ok let's look at Emma THOMPSON b. abt 1821 Luton, Bedfordshire - Father Samuel mother ?

I can't Find Emma's death in Qld. BMD so far in searching. I'm in NLA now.

Please see if you can find Emma in 1841. Failing that it's back to the Australian board for awhile.

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

I can't see Emma's death and I can't find a marriage that fits for her parents either.

Imagine using super glue as eye drops.

Regards,

Dave
