Looking for a death for Sarah. There is this one but ...

7297/1873 WALLACE SARAH AGE 43 YEARS DIED WELLINGTON WELLINGTON

This is a brother-in-law (married Joseph's daughter Hannah) ...

National Advocate (Bathurst, NSW : 1889 - 1954) - Friday 23 July 1915 p.3
Personal
Word reached Bathurst yesterday from Wentworth Falls of the death of a very old and respected former resident of Bathurst, in the person of Mr. John Wallis. About 13 years ago he went to reside with his son at Wellington, where, during the past five years, his wife and son died. He then went to reside with his daughter at Wentworth Falls. Deceased was 91 years old. He was a builder by trade, and one of the first to start the Star Bowkett Society in Bathurst. In the early sixties he kept an hotel on Keppel-street.

... so that would fit for location but not if age is correct for Sarah.

Looking at births in NSW we have at least 2x William & Sarah - one in Bathurst and one in Maitland.

I'm off to the local library for a few hours.

John P = John B = John Blackdown

Blackdown is a very famous property in Bathurst.

Rule out Melbourne and Petersham.

Don't know about the Mulgoa one. Perhaps they moved from Kelso to Mulgoa and then to Bathurst.

The Sydney Mail and New South Wales Advertiser (NSW : 1871 - 1912) - Saturday 2 August 1884
COUNTRY NEWS
BLAYNEY, Monday.
A sad accident happened to a boy named William Wallace,
son of a farmer of Upper King's Plains, on Saturday
afternoon last. He went to a well to draw water, and not
returning his parents became alarmed, and on making a
search his dead body was found at the bottom of the well.
Dr. Griffiths examined the body and gave evidence at the
inquest held this morning, when a verdict was returned of
"accidentally drowned."

No death reg. because of the inquest.

There are so many births for a William but he does not appear to be the son of William & Sarah.
No birth 1870 - 1884 in Blayney in the index.

No age at death. I don't even know if the death at Blayney is the right one.

These two gibbo found are part of the family from Wexford in my tree ...

Name: William Wallis
Birth Year (Estimated): 1817
Age: 24
Native Residence Place: Wexford, ,
Father's Name: Joseph Wallis
Mother's Name: Ann
Spouse's Name: Sarah Wallis
Spouse's Residence Place: Wexford, ,
Spouse's Father's Name: John Higginbottom
Spouse's Mother's Name: Jane
Ship Name: William Jardine
Event Date: 23 Dec 1841
Volume: 57

... so it's those two deaths I'm chasing.

Looking for age at death for those two. They appear to fit given middle initial I for Sarah.

Looking for death of Charles born 1852. Too many possible ones.
