There might just be room for William before James if Catharine is 24 and Sarah is 20. I can't find another family that fits. It's possible both Richard and Catherine died before 1841.

William would not be the first Cornish miner in my tree who later became a minister.

I also don't know how accurate the info is on the Qld. death reg.

Hi Dave,

I see that William gives his place of birth as St Issey. Wonder whether Catherine was known as Kitty. Came across these baptisms:-

William Woolcock
Christening 28 Apr 1817
Parents Richhard Woolcock/Kitty

This looks like the same christening

28 Apr 1817
BETHESDA CHAPEL-INDEPENDENT,SAINT COLUMB MAJOR,CORNWALL,ENGLAND
Birth date 18 Apr 1817

Parents Richard Woolcock/Kitty

Hello Julie,

Thank you very much.

St Issey is more helpful than St...

That's a possible baptism.
