Hi,

I'm a beginner when it comes to wills.

I have found a relative listed in the probate list, does this mean they left a will?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Hi Ozn,

Many thanks for your message and undertaking the research, much appreciated.

Is it likely that there was a will? Can we know this from the information you uncovered?

Kind regards

Chris

Hi again
In Anc it is listed under their
England & Wales Probate Calendar
(Index of Wills & Administrations)
1861-1941
That's all I can tell you me dear unless
you can find Wills for the county??
familysearch may have them.

Even i am very much new to this topic. But i can tell you about the probate. Probate is the legal process of administering the estate of a deceased person by resolving all claims and distributing the deceased person's property under the valid will.
