Windows 10 Password Reset Code

My Microsoft account has only one device this desktop so yesterday it asked me to verify my account email and they would send a password reset code. It then asked me to enter the code. Now, how can I get the code if it's in my inbox inside Windows 10 that I'm not into yet??

Do you have access to another PC?
If so there is a program called PCUnlocker that use can use.

I got around the problem Dave. The other PC in the house has no access to the internet. Just rather odd when Microsoft knew my digital licence was for a single device that somehow the procedure was expected to work.

Glad you got over your problem.
It's a wise thing to have an alternative email address, such as a G mail account that you can access on another PC or smart phone, that recovery codes can be sent to.
