Is anyone still using Windows 7. Has anyone experienced any bother with it in the last few days.?

I know Win7 will not be recieving any updates, and will not be supported by Microsoft in 2020.!!

Can't help you now Steve as I no longer have Win 7 on the backup computer.
I could not get the laser printer to work with Win 7 so now both computers have Win 10.

Win 7 on my puta, had a complete melt down. F8 & F11 did not work. 'Find and fix' was the only option, and that worked for a time, then the whole process was gone through again, 3 times in two days.
This morning 6 MS updates were dowloaded and installed.......ok so far. MS had a security issue with one of their products.

Makes me laugh...........'Windows will inform you when we have a solution'............I wonder how they'd manage that, with no PC working.

Anyway, time will tell.;)

My computer was been a idiot the other day so I did a recovery and no problems since. That sounds like I knew what I was doing, but I didn't, it was something I was told to try ages ago so thought I would give it a go. I don't know exactly what it does and but since it worked im happy.

Still have a couple at work with Win7 and both are working fine. We have an old laser printer that won't work with WinX so we need 7 to run it!
If you get problems after a Windows update I'd used system restore to go back to when things worked OK and then turn off Windows update.
