I've just started downloading Win 10 to a USB drive.
I'm not too keen on the idea that you can't modifiy things until after the first update is automatically installed.
I might try to clone my active partition onto another hard disk before I install Win 10.
In general terms, the layout of windows has not changed much over the years, but this is far departure from what I'm used to. I have no experience of Win.8, but I have heard that 8 was not too good.
From a technical point of view, I see WIN 10 as far more useful for 'on the go' appliances, ie smart phones, tablets etc. As for a desktop situation, it seems 'out of place'.
Ayway, this old dinosaur is sticking with what I have, until I'm 'forced' to change.
I just wish that I could do what you are doing Dave, but it's far beyond what I can understand.
