Not an easy one. The first witness looks like ?ru?y Car?Wilson or CarewWilson The last bit could be two names with the writing running into one another or could be a double barrel name.

Second witness could also be J Dauncey

I think you are right with J Dauncey. It appears in NSW BDM but Damicey etc... do not.

If it is ... Car?Wilson then what is the letter before 'C' ? Or is it a huge 'H' in the middle?

If the surname is Wilson then there are way too many in NSW BDM index.

If it is Car??-Wilson then you can't insert a '-' in the search string.

Searching car?wilson and car??wilson get no hits.

Does not look like Stuart and does not look like Mark of Carol Wilson.
