Word "Into" on marriage certificate before father's name

I have a copy of the marriage certificate of my three greats-grandfather, dating from 1861. His father's name has the word "Into" written before it. I wondered if anyone knows what this means? I can email a picture if anyone wants to message me with their email address. The said 3-greats grandfather may have been born illegitimately to the father listed on the certificate if that helps. Thanks!
