I am helping a friend out with her tree and we have both hit a total brick wall, any new eyes would be much appreciated. Here goes.
1861 census Ruswarp bay Whitby.
john cockrill house joiner.
his wife Elizabeth and the children.

also is Ann Wren who is listed as a widow and mother b. hemsley yorks in 1801 a shopkeeper. Ann is possibly Sarah and she is not Elizabeth cockrills mother as her maiden name is Wilson, so is she John Cockrills mother, I can find nothing for this lady other than her birth and her death in 1868 in Hartlepool listed as cockrill if it is indeed her. Did find a sarah cockrill with a son john on the 1851 census, living in fylingdales nr Whitby, but her age is 10 years out as she was 61 in 1861 but on the 1851 census shes 61 as well. Not very often I get this stuck, so much gnashing of teeth.
