WW1 Autograph book

I have an autograph book which belonged to my Grandmother when she nursed WW1 soldiers in Haslingdon, Lancashire from 1917-1919. the book contains cartoons, rhymes and messages written by soldiers, most of which wrote their name, rank and regiment as well as the date.

I am considering researching the existing family of these soldiers, as they may value a copy of their relative's contribution to the book. I would also like to know a bit about each soldier and maybe produce a book about the book.

Haven't a clue where to start. Can anyone help?
