Hoping someone one there could help me? I am trying to find info on my gg grandfather William Henry Tucker b. 1885 Cardiff. He was killed in action during WW1. Unfortunately I do not know what regiment he was in so trying to find info is difficult. May seem like a silly question, but where would the death be registered? Would it be where he died or would his family members have registered the death locally.

Thanks you.

his death would have been registered by the army i think if he died abroad
and i think they would have done so if he died in this country
