WW1 Help

Hoping someone one there could help me? I am trying to find info on my gg grandfather William Henry Tucker b. 1885 Cardiff. He was killed in action during WW1. Unfortunately I do not know what regiment he was in so trying to find info is difficult. May seem like a silly question, but where would the death be registered? Would it be where he died or would his family members have registered the death locally.

Thanks you.
there are 12 w h tuckers listed on the commonwealth wargraves commission website
take a look there that might help you
his death would have been registered by the army i think if he died abroad
and i think they would have done so if he died in this country
hi lojo

Thank you for the reply, I have already looked at the commonwealth wargraves commission, but like you said there are 12 w h tuckers listed.

I don't know which one it could be:'( I know he died abroad but have know idea where.
