A lot on the Great War Forum have access to all manor of records.

Tried but the forum sign up link is faulty:'(
Just been given info that my grandfathers brother died 1916 Mesopptamia, didn't realise we fought there in WW1, and what a Birmingham lad was doing there baffles me ???

i can say your may join ancestry on a pay as you go £ 6/7 =00 pay as you go but 49 pages to send or download isa tall order i may be able to help i or 2 vic

was he married to elizabeth langley

thanks but not the same person.

He survived ww1, returned to Wales to father the rest of his family( inc my father 1927) to die in england in the 1970's. My sister has a painting done on the battlefields which prompted the original question.
