NSW Burial COX WILLIAM 1550/1864 V18641550 157 AGE 85 - CE= CofE Richmond

That's one I can't look up on the usual films being a volume past 123.

The only tree I can find is for the William Cox who died in 1850.

Just hang in there with me, i found this arrival. If them they are from Ireland. Could Frank actually be Francis and Marie be Maria??

William, 54 years, Mary 46? years, Joseph 15 years, Frank 9 years, Marie 12 years.

There is a separate one for son Richard and his also mentions more sisters, Eliza and Catherine. Richard may have come here and gone back to the UK at a later date.
Richard aged 21

Thanks gibbo.

Problem with the death in Richmond. Age not a good fit and mother on death reg not Mary.

It's not the 1850 death. Lots of trees for that one born in NSW.

The trees and Trove are full of details of the other William Cox of Hobartville, NSW - not Tasmania. He was a JP and in NSW long before 1840.

There was a inquest into Richard's death, i wonder if it would state where he was born or any other info that might help?? OR the whole newspaper article might give a lead.
