Hello,

Joseph YOUNGMAN & Susan HAMPTON
Marriage: 10 Oct 1826 Kidderminster, Worcester

John b. 1827 Kidderminster
Edward b. 1828 Bramfield, Suffolk

I'd like a look up for the family in 1841 and 1851 please.

Joseph may have died between 1841 and 1851. Not sure about Susan/ Susannah.

Regards,

Dave

I have nothing to give me a clue as to where Joseph & Susan were born.

I did find this possible death:

Deaths Jun 1845
YOUNGMAN Joseph Plomesgate 12 301

That fits but if ages are right a huge difference in age.

Possible:

Joseph Youngman
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
christening: 12 May 1805 Stanton, Suffolk, England
residence: England
parents: Joseph Youngman, Sarah Halls Youngman

That may not be given this baptism:

Elizabeth Youngman
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
christening: 19 Aug 1832 Wrentham, Suffolk, England
residence: Suffolk, England
parents: John Youngman, Maria

But I can't find a baptism for Elizabeth that fits with this one:

Edward Ashford Youngman
England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975
christening: 27 Oct 1828 BRAMFIELD,SUFFOLK,ENGLAND
residence: Suffolk, England
parents: Joseph Youngman, Susannah

So it looks like the right Edward.

John ended up in Australia. Arrived 14 Sep 1859 John 32 Policeman Worcestershire CofE Both

Now I'll have to trace Edward and Elizabeth.

Thanks Barbara,

Yes, does look like it now.

I ruled her out then in again when I confirmed I had a baptism for Edward.

I think John is the only one to end up in Australia. Not 100% sure yet. ;)

Can't find Elizabeth in 61 under Masterson or anything similar.

Possibly Edward in 51?

Thanks Barbara.

If Chelsea is correct then I can't see a baptism to fit. I can find the same one in 1881 and again it says born Chelsea. This would be the matching death but is it my Edward?

Deaths Sep 1899
Youngman Edward 71 Bury St. E. 4a 570

I can't find an Edward born Suffolk in 1881.

I can't see a death in NSW for Edward or Elizabeth.

The only YOUNGMAN listed are John and family:

YOUNGMAN Edward 8 Parsee 1859 Sydney and/or Newcastle and family Reel 2139, [4/4795]
YOUNGMAN Elizabeth 5 Parsee 1859 Sydney and/or Newcastle and family Reel 2139, [4/4795]

Last thing I have found on possible Edward. An Edward Youngman leaves Liverpool in 1909 for the USA and he is born 1828. He is a glass worker and single.

Thanks Barbara.

Yes, the Chemist is out. I'm not sure about Ipswich.

That could be either of the two born in Suffolk.

There are three born around 1829, two in Suffolk and one in Essex that I can see but possibly some baptisms missing.

Time for me to sleep on it. ;)
